The OASYS Healthcare team recently returned from the 2026 CHES National Conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, and we had a fantastic time connecting with healthcare professionals from across Canada.
Held September 20–22 at the St. John’s Convention Centre, CHES brought together people from across the healthcare facilities, engineering, design, operations, and maintenance industries. It was a great few days of conversations, new connections, and, of course, the opportunity to experience a little bit of what St. John’s has to offer.
A Great Few Days in St. John’s
One of our favourite parts of attending events like CHES is simply getting the opportunity to meet people face-to-face.
Throughout the conference, we welcomed attendees to our booth, caught up with familiar faces, met plenty of new ones, and had some great conversations about the work happening in healthcare facilities across the country.
We also had the opportunity to showcase our Patient Entertainment Arms and talk about how OASYS solutions are being used to support healthcare environments in Canada and beyond.
Our General Manager, Rob Mann, summed up the experience:
“It was a great pleasure to exhibit and be part of CHES 2026 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. St. John’s, thank you for showing us some of Canada’s beauty. Having the opportunity to discuss our patented Patient Entertainment Arms with our fellow Canadians was unforgettable.”

More Than Just a Tradeshow
While we always enjoy showing people what we do at OASYS, some of the most valuable parts of CHES were the conversations happening around the booth.
Hearing directly from healthcare professionals gives us a better understanding of what facilities are looking for, the challenges they’re facing, and where products like ours can make a difference.
It also gives us a chance to talk through real applications rather than simply showing a product. Those conversations and relationships are a big part of why we continue to value events like this one.
Thank You, CHES!
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello, ask a question, or learn a little more about OASYS Healthcare. We really enjoyed meeting you.
We’d also like to thank CHES and everyone involved in organizing this year’s conference. It was a great event and a fantastic opportunity to spend a few days with Canada’s healthcare community.
And finally, thank you to the city of St. John’s for being such a wonderful host. We enjoyed our time in Newfoundland and were grateful for the opportunity to experience another beautiful part of Canada.
We’re heading home with plenty of great conversations, new connections, and memories from CHES 2026.
